Happy almost October! You can tell that fall and Halloween are on my mind! I wanted to share some of my new tote bags and pouches. This first tote is a pumpkin patchwork tote, great to use as a market tote or a trick or treating bag. This little pumpkin patch came from a paper piecing pattern I bought from: https://www.etsy.com/shop/CenterStreetQuilts which also has other great paper piecing patterns.
Two more patchwork tote bags I made out of scraps of foxes/bears and wilderness fabric. Both bags are great to use as reusable grocery bags!
I love these new zipper pouches I made. I am getting into quilting now, so I decided to experiment with the fancy top stitches on my sewing machine. I think these turned out great. Of course you can see a skull/dark colors trend with these pouches 😉
Hello! My name is Julie, I am very crafty and I love to quilt! I currently live in Denver, Colorado, but I was born and grew up in Virginia. My sewing journey began in 2009 where I started making handbags and I have participated in several craft shows/markets in Virginia and Colorado.
I began quilting in 2020, and since then quilting has been my main focus. I have made several quilts from modern, improve, lap quilts to mini quilts. In 2023 I became a member of the Denver Metro Quilt Guild. Besides sewing, in my spare time I love to weave, take photos, bake, hike, ski, attend craft/art shows, and spend time with my husband and my dog Lilly. My blog mostly focuses on my creations and inspirations, but once and awhile, I will blog about my trips and travel adventures. My goal is to share and inspire everyone who is reading. Enjoy!
