I cannot believe it is almost the end of another roller coaster year. I wanted to share my last two creations of 2021…which are Christmas mini quilts, and are hanging up in my cubicle at work.

The snowman and Christmas Trees were made from paper piecing patterns credited by Center Street Quilts.
December is the month I usually take off from sewing. Of course, this is the month I am already busy with shopping, baking, and wrapping presents but December is when I also need to relax and recuperate. I like to look back from this past year of all the sewing projects I made, and brainstorm the projects I want make in the next year.

I also love to Christmas shop around in the little towns of Colorado, and in Denver. Despite the weather being a little peculiar this year, Colorado is absolutely beautiful around Christmas. The decorations and lights are spectacular, and I love the little Christmas Markets, including The Market in the town of Georgetown, Colorado, and The Christkindlmarket in Downtown Denver.

On actual Christmas, we will be in Taos, New Mexico, and very excited to explore this town! More details on that in my next entry. Happy Holidays everyone!
