I hope everyone had a safe and happy New Year! Denver got a fair amount of snow (finally) on New Years Eve so it was a quiet night at home for us. In this post, I wanted to share a few pictures from our trip to New Mexico for Christmas. We were there from December 23 – 26, and we stayed at a cute little AirBnb in the Town of Taos.

On Christmas Eve, it was a bit rainy in Taos, but that did not stop us from exploring the town’s shops and art galleries!

Taos is a pretty cool town, it reminded me a bit of Santa Fe only a little bit smaller. Taos was also lit up for Christmas!

The galleries in Taos were amazing, I got to see some really cool art and jewelry…and of course I had to stop into the fabric shop I spotted, and bought some awesome southwestern themed fabric! I just started my first sewing project of the year with this fabric. 😉

On Christmas Day, we went skiing at the Taos ski resort. While the town received only rain, the ski resort received several inches of snow, which made for great ski conditions when we were there. And the views were beautiful!

After we went skiing, we took a small hike near The Rio Grande Gorge earlier in the evening on Christmas, and the views were beautiful.

And I captured some very great views on our drive back home. 🙂
