Thailand/Singapore Trip Part 3 – Singapore

April 17th we left Thailand, and flew into Singapore which I requested to be one of our connections. One of the main reasons I wanted to go to Singapore was to see one of the main attractions; which is The Jewel Waterfall that is located in the Jewel Changi Airport.

We arrived that evening and just explored the shopping mall at the airport where we also stayed for two nights. The next day, we explored the City and it was incredible. We did a lot of sight seeing, including The Sultan Mosque, and some other temples. We also ate at a local bakery, visited some markets, I bought some gorgeous fabric at a few fabric shops, and saw some really cool murals.

We also explored Gardens By The Bay, which is a park located in the City where they have gardens, green houses, conservatories, and Futuristic Super trees Groves. This place was amazing! We saw some really cool flowers and plants.

What we did not expect, was one section of the gardens we came across a Jurassic World exhibit! This was super cool, as we were surrounded by animatronic dinosaurs that resembled the dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park/World movie franchise.

After we explored all of the gardens, we went and explored more of Singapore, and the streets were so clean! However, the heat and humidity in Singapore was still extremely high.

We went up the famous hotel; Marina Bay Sands where we had a couple of drinks, and had a full view of the City.

As we wrapped up the evening and before we headed back to our hotel, we stayed out until it got dark so we can see the The SuperTrees put on a lightning show!

The next morning, we journeyed off back home completing our trip.

This was the most amazing trip I have ever been on. Thailand and Singapore are both full of adventure, culture, and great food. I highly recommend for everyone to experience these two places in Southeast Asia. It was well worth the long travel days! I cannot wait to go back to experience more of Thailand including the Northern part.
