Last month, I finished yet another scrappy quilt and it is on it’s way over seas!
The top of the quilt was made from all scraps of fabric I have kept, and yet my fabric stash still looks the same!
I used a huge variety of fabric scraps to make a beautiful lap sized log cabin scrappy quilt. I have sent this quilt to Utah last week to the same organization that I have sent my previous quilts. In case you missed my previous blog posts, “Wrap The World With Quilts” collects handmade quilts and sends them over to other countries such as Ukraine to people in need. Hello! My name is Julie, I am very crafty and I love to quilt! I currently live in Denver, Colorado, but I was born and grew up in Virginia. My sewing journey began in 2009 where I started making handbags and I have participated in several craft shows/markets in Virginia and Colorado.
I began quilting in 2020, and since then quilting has been my main focus. I have made several quilts from modern, improve, lap quilts to mini quilts. In 2023 I became a member of the Denver Metro Quilt Guild. Besides sewing, in my spare time I love to weave, take photos, bake, hike, ski, attend craft/art shows, and spend time with my husband and my dog Lilly. My blog mostly focuses on my creations and inspirations, but once and awhile, I will blog about my trips and travel adventures. My goal is to share and inspire everyone who is reading. Enjoy!
