Happy May! The weather is finally warm. We are able to go on walks and do some gardening, which makes this quarantine more tolerable. The past few weeks, I made 2 more mini quilts. My quilting skills are a little better but still need some improvement.
The mini quilt below, is honeybee themed. I am excited for springtime and warm weather so I wanted to make a quilt dedicated to the pollinators. I love the combination of the black/yellow colors!

The cute mini quilt below was made from a heart paper piecing pattern. This mini quilt is dedicated to all of the healthcare and essential workers during this pandemic.

Please continue to stay safe and healthy! ❤ ❤ ❤

Hello! My name is Julie, I am very crafty and I love to quilt! I currently live in Denver, Colorado, but I was born and grew up in Virginia. My sewing journey began in 2009 where I started making handbags and I have participated in several craft shows/markets in Virginia and Colorado.
I began quilting in 2020, and since then quilting has been my main focus. I have made several quilts from modern, improve, lap quilts to mini quilts. In 2023 I became a member of the Denver Metro Quilt Guild. Besides sewing, in my spare time I love to weave, take photos, bake, hike, ski, attend craft/art shows, and spend time with my husband and my dog Lilly. My blog mostly focuses on my creations and inspirations, but once and awhile, I will blog about my trips and travel adventures. My goal is to share and inspire everyone who is reading. Enjoy!
