I hope everyone had a Happy Valentine’s Day! Quoting Leslie Knope from The TV show “Parks and Recreation” – “February 14th, Valentine’s Day is about celebrating romance. February 13th, Galentine’s Day is about celebrating lady Friends!” Last Thursday, we celebrated Galentine’s Day at my house eating pizza and watching The Bachelor. I made these cute little Galentine’s goody bags for my lady friends.
Lilly dog wore her new Valentine scarf for Valentine’s Day. The pink plaid side was made from my old pajama pants.
A couple weeks ago, we had our annual group friend ski trip. We stayed in the town of Breckenridge, only a bus ride a way from the ski resort. The snow was great and the ski conditions were excellent. Of course I brought my fancier camera to take pictures of the amazing views from our airbnb.
January was a dry and warmer month in Denver. February has been cold and snowy! I have been getting spring fever, so I decided to make a patchwork Honeybee tote bag to remind me that bee season and warm weather is on the way! These adorable bee and honeycomb swatches came from a cute local fabric shop located in Georgetown, Colorado.
