Just a few Mini Quilts and Bags

It is summertime!! And might I mention it has been rainier and cooler here in Denver this year. I wanted to show off some of my creations I have made in the past few months. I’ll start off with this adorable mini quilt I made from some of the Batik fabric scraps I kept. Colorado has some beautiful sunflowers in the summer so I wanted to make this quilt to resemble a sunflower, and I even added some Hand quilting!

This bee/pollinator theme quilted pillow was also made from fabric scraps I kept, and is now included on our living room couch. And the patchwork tote bag on the left is available on my Etsy!

When we were in Hawaii back in April, I stopped in a couple fabric stores and I bought some awesome Hawaiian/floral themed fabrics.

I decided to do a Hawaiian/Day of the Dead theme for one of my mini quilts, where I combined the Hawaiian fabric with a few skull fabrics I had. I think the fabrics on this quilt collaborated very well!

I also combined these fabrics to make this awesome skull/floral quilted tote bag, and whatever Hawaiian fabrics I had leftover were used to make two zipper pouches.

All of these bags are available on my Etsy site!! https://www.etsy.com/shop/JuliesJewelz086
