I hope everyone is having a fantastic spooky season! I wanted to share a couple more log cabin quilts I have made. This log cabin quilt below, I finished back in July. It is Fall/Halloween themed, and was mostly made from scraps of Batik fabrics. I decided to do a little photoshoot with this quilt, that included a hiking trail in the mountains and Lilly Dog! This quilt is currently hanging on a wall behind my cubicle.

The next quilt below, is another mini log cabin quilt, and the theme is Bee lovers! I love how this quilt turned out, and I love how all the colors collaborate with each other. I used more scraps of fabric I already had, and found some new bee fabric to use in the middle of each quilt block.

Of course I had to new include a new addition to my fall home décor…and that would be a newly made quilted pumpkin pillow! This pumpkin paper piecing pattern I have used before, and I love this pattern, that I wanted to make a pillow out of it. This pillow is currently lying on our couch.

Since Halloween is tomorrow, I also wanted to share our Halloween Costumes that we wore over the weekend. Wizard of Oz was my favorite movie as a kid, so I decided to make a Dorothy costume, and Walter was a lion (not handmade). I loved how my costume turned out, and it wasn’t too hard to make! I had to improvise a little, and used an old Beanie Baby as Toto. It all came together great!

Have a Happy Halloween!!
