Happy October!! I am glad the weather is finally cooling down, and so excited Halloween is in a few weeks! I wanted to share my new Fall/Halloween creations. It is mostly handbags and pouches but I love the new fabric I got, especially the puppy sugar skulls.
I also really love how the Halloween patchwork tote (upper right photo) turned out. The wilderness theme tote bag below was a custom made bag for my coworker.
My favorite is the little pumpkin mini quilt. I think the colors work very well together. The quilt is made mostly from Batik fabrics, and the pumpkin was made from a paper piecing pattern – credit Kohatupatterns.
And this adorable quilt is hanging right by my Cubicle!
Hello! My name is Julie, I am very crafty and I love to quilt! I currently live in Denver, Colorado, but I was born and grew up in Virginia. My sewing journey began in 2009 where I started making handbags and I have participated in several craft shows/markets in Virginia and Colorado.
I began quilting in 2020, and since then quilting has been my main focus. I have made several quilts from modern, improve, lap quilts to mini quilts. In 2023 I became a member of the Denver Metro Quilt Guild. Besides sewing, in my spare time I love to weave, take photos, bake, hike, ski, attend craft/art shows, and spend time with my husband and my dog Lilly. My blog mostly focuses on my creations and inspirations, but once and awhile, I will blog about my trips and travel adventures. My goal is to share and inspire everyone who is reading. Enjoy!
