I can’t believe January is about over! Besides sewing, I have been doing some skiing (safely over course) and some in house yoga, oh and wedding planning!
This will be a short entry, just wanted to share some new bags I made this month, including the wilderness quilted zipper pouch, and the new gothic/skull patchwork tote bag. Both available on my Esty.
Recently, I have had a soft spot for Koalas (although, I have always thought they were adorable). The tote bag below is dedicated to the devastating fires in Australia that occurred around this time last year. Perfect to use for a market bag! This bag is also available on my Etsy, and 10% of this sale will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund.
Hello! My name is Julie, I am very crafty and I love to quilt! I currently live in Denver, Colorado, but I was born and grew up in Virginia. My sewing journey began in 2009 where I started making handbags and I have participated in several craft shows/markets in Virginia and Colorado.
I began quilting in 2020, and since then quilting has been my main focus. I have made several quilts from modern, improve, lap quilts to mini quilts. In 2023 I became a member of the Denver Metro Quilt Guild. Besides sewing, in my spare time I love to weave, take photos, bake, hike, ski, attend craft/art shows, and spend time with my husband and my dog Lilly. My blog mostly focuses on my creations and inspirations, but once and awhile, I will blog about my trips and travel adventures. My goal is to share and inspire everyone who is reading. Enjoy!
