Greetings and a Merry Christmas! I hope everyone has been enjoying the holidays as best as they can, and I am happy to say that we are in the final stretch of 2020! Even though 2020 was not the best year overall, a lot of good things happened this year, and I still have plenty to be thankful for. Just a few things I wanted to share including some of my final creations of 2020, including pouches, coasters, and brand new quilted Christmas stockings.
I also put my loom to use the past couple months making Christmas presents, including a half handwoven decorative pillow and a woven tapestry!
I also wanted to share some photos I took on our mountain adventures this past month, including our visit in the little town of Evergreen, Colorado. Lilly dog has a blast in the snow!
I wish everyone a safe and healthy new year, and I am working on plenty more creations for 2021!
Hello! My name is Julie, I am very crafty and I love to quilt! I currently live in Denver, Colorado, but I was born and grew up in Virginia. My sewing journey began in 2009 where I started making handbags and I have participated in several craft shows/markets in Virginia and Colorado.
I began quilting in 2020, and since then quilting has been my main focus. I have made several quilts from modern, improve, lap quilts to mini quilts. In 2023 I became a member of the Denver Metro Quilt Guild. Besides sewing, in my spare time I love to weave, take photos, bake, hike, ski, attend craft/art shows, and spend time with my husband and my dog Lilly. My blog mostly focuses on my creations and inspirations, but once and awhile, I will blog about my trips and travel adventures. My goal is to share and inspire everyone who is reading. Enjoy!
