This hike actually took place about 4 weeks ago. We just love to torture ourselves by getting up at 3:00 am to hike a 14er at the crack of dawn (to avoid any afternoon thunderstorms)!
The 14er we hiked was at Grays Peak, located about 2 hours west of Denver. The views were beautiful and the wildflowers were everywhere! It was a pretty tough hike especially near the top, and I was struggling quite a bit, but it was worth it for the views!
And on the way down the mountain, we got lucky to run into a family of mountain goats. Super cute!
This is the third 14er hike I have done since living in Colorado. They are not very easy hikes, but they are very rewarding, and I am always up for the challenge. 🙂
Hello again.
It was interesting to see your landscapes of your hike. I think that you would love to see ours far beyond the Arctic Circle. On our Arctic Fells there are free roaming reindeer!

Enjoy. I beg my pardon you giving so many links to my post, but I hope that you enjoyed them.
Have a wonderful day!
