New “Hearts” Baby Quilt

It’s Valentine’s Day! And I thought what more appropriate time to share my newly made quilt full of red, pinks, and hearts!

I made this quilt out of fabric squares from scraps that came from my fabric stash, and I wanted to make a few heart shapes out of the white fabric squares. This is a very simple quilt, but I love the little hearts and the color coordination.

The border of the quilt was made from pink and polka dot fabric, and includes little gray elephants. I finished this quilt last month, and can be used as a Valentine’s Day quilt but is also perfect year round. This quilt is the perfect size for a baby quilt.

Last week, I sent this quilt to a nonprofit organization called “Quilted Love” that donates to children hospitals, NICUs, and other organizations that help children in need and facing health issues. If you would like to help donate, please see the link below. They will accept anything from fully made quilts, quilt tops, and quilt materials. :-) https://quiltedlove.org
