Happy Spring!! This was a long and snowy winter, but I am glad it is finally warming up. I have been a little quiet with my blogging recently, mostly because I have been busy, but I have not stopped crafting! Like I mentioned previously, I want to be more eco-friendly, so this year I have made several patchwork bags and wall hangings out of scraps of fabric. I love how the patchwork yoga mat bag turned out!
Yes, I still buy cute fabrics at the store, and still photoshop fabric prints! I love to mix and match! The CO flag wall hanging was made from all old fabric scraps, and the train wall hanging was a mixture of new and old fabric. Walter loves trains!
I even made new home decor! A bumble bee painted mason jar, and of course the mason jar was recycled!

For Easter, I made Lilly a new Easter doggie scarf, and some little Easter baskets for my niece and nephews, with their names embroidered!
I have many more new creations coming up! Stay tuned!

Hello! My name is Julie, I am very crafty and I love to quilt! I currently live in Denver, Colorado, but I was born and grew up in Virginia. My sewing journey began in 2009 where I started making handbags and I have participated in several craft shows/markets in Virginia and Colorado.
I began quilting in 2020, and since then quilting has been my main focus. I have made several quilts from modern, improve, lap quilts to mini quilts. In 2023 I became a member of the Denver Metro Quilt Guild. Besides sewing, in my spare time I love to weave, take photos, bake, hike, ski, attend craft/art shows, and spend time with my husband and my dog Lilly. My blog mostly focuses on my creations and inspirations, but once and awhile, I will blog about my trips and travel adventures. My goal is to share and inspire everyone who is reading. Enjoy!
