It’s Halloween! The air is crisp, leaves have fallen, and Lilly is wearing her pumpkin scarf!
The holidays are approaching quickly, and I have been preparing for a couple craft shows coming up. This Saturday is my first holiday craft fair this year. These are the new handbags I will be selling! Two of the bags are fall themed that include the aspen trees! I also love the patchwork on these bags.
Dia De Los Muertos is coming up as well! I have made a few more Day of the Dead themed bags. The purple skulls fabric I designed, and my favorite is the Sugar skull/Pink Roses patchwork tote.
And the new zippered pouch I made, includes Lilly Dog!

I hope everyone had a fun and spooky Halloween!

Hello! My name is Julie, I am very crafty and I love to quilt! I currently live in Denver, Colorado, but I was born and grew up in Virginia. My sewing journey began in 2009 where I started making handbags and I have participated in several craft shows/markets in Virginia and Colorado.
I began quilting in 2020, and since then quilting has been my main focus. I have made several quilts from modern, improve, lap quilts to mini quilts. In 2023 I became a member of the Denver Metro Quilt Guild. Besides sewing, in my spare time I love to weave, take photos, bake, hike, ski, attend craft/art shows, and spend time with my husband and my dog Lilly. My blog mostly focuses on my creations and inspirations, but once and awhile, I will blog about my trips and travel adventures. My goal is to share and inspire everyone who is reading. Enjoy!
