At the beginning of last year, I decided to complete a personal challenge where I sew a different block each month from January to December in 2025. Using my scraps of fabric, I designed a different block for each month. Once I completed all the blocks at the end of the year, I combined them into one quilt, naming it the “2025 Block of the Month Quilt.”
I used several different printed and solid fabrics of my choice and created a different design for each month and each block was about 15×15. I machine quilted each block and used the Quilt as you go method. I would say this challenge was a success!
After the Quilt was complete, I decided to do a mini photo shoot with the Colorado Mountains in the background.
