Happy New year and happy February! I have had a busy January with sewing new handbags. I have made more Colorado flag tote bags and more awesome skull bags! I have also made two tote bags from canvas fabric, and another zippered bag from up-cycled fabric.
January also was a busy month with more skiing! A few of our friends visited us for about a week and we went skiing in Vail, Keystone, and Breckenridge Resort. We also received a fox visitor at our mountain house.
This month, I continue to sew and I am beginning to apply to local spring craft fairs in the City.
Valentine’s Day is coming up! Which means I have been painting more recycled mason jars with Valentine hearts!

Hello! My name is Julie, I am very crafty and I love to quilt! I currently live in Denver, Colorado, but I was born and grew up in Virginia. My sewing journey began in 2009 where I started making handbags and I have participated in several craft shows/markets in Virginia and Colorado.
I began quilting in 2020, and since then quilting has been my main focus. I have made several quilts from modern, improve, lap quilts to mini quilts. In 2023 I became a member of the Denver Metro Quilt Guild. Besides sewing, in my spare time I love to weave, take photos, bake, hike, ski, attend craft/art shows, and spend time with my husband and my dog Lilly. My blog mostly focuses on my creations and inspirations, but once and awhile, I will blog about my trips and travel adventures. My goal is to share and inspire everyone who is reading. Enjoy!
