Well, this week is my last week on the East Coast. On Thursday, I will be journeying to my new home; Denver, Colorado. Although I am very excited about this new adventure, I will be missing Virginia where I have lived for the past 30 years. I have included a few pictures of some of my favorite places located in Norfolk, Virginia, which is the last City I lived in Virginia.

The Naro – which is an old and small movie theater

Zeke’s – a local restaurant/coffee shop

Kitsch – A local artisan shop.
Last week, I participated in my last craft show in Virginia; which was the Riverview Village Days Market.
So long Virginia, and hello Colorado!

Hello! My name is Julie, I am very crafty and I love to quilt! I currently live in Denver, Colorado, but I was born and grew up in Virginia. My sewing journey began in 2009 where I started making handbags and I have participated in several craft shows/markets in Virginia and Colorado.
I began quilting in 2020, and since then quilting has been my main focus. I have made several quilts from modern, improve, lap quilts to mini quilts. In 2023 I became a member of the Denver Metro Quilt Guild. Besides sewing, in my spare time I love to weave, take photos, bake, hike, ski, attend craft/art shows, and spend time with my husband and my dog Lilly. My blog mostly focuses on my creations and inspirations, but once and awhile, I will blog about my trips and travel adventures. My goal is to share and inspire everyone who is reading. Enjoy!
